What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the user's browser during a visit. They allow the site to remember preferences and collect aggregate information about usage. Nodeon also uses the browser's localStorage — a technology similar to cookies — for the same technical purposes described in this policy.
Strictly necessary technical cookies
We use only strictly necessary technical cookies and localStorage entries that do not require your consent: authenticated session cookie (maintains your active workspace session; expires when the browser is closed); language preference (stores your selected language in the localStorage key 'nodeon-lang'; 12-month duration); cookie consent preference (records your choices in the localStorage key 'nodeon-cookie-consent'; 12-month duration). None of these contains personally identifiable information.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure site traffic. This tool was specifically chosen because it does not install any cookies in the browser, does not track individual users across sessions, and does not build personal profiles. All collected data is aggregated and anonymous: estimated unique visitors, pages viewed, average session duration, country of origin, device type. No personal data is transmitted to Cloudflare for this purpose.
No third-party tracking cookies
Nodeon does not install profiling, behavioural advertising or cross-site tracking cookies from third parties. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag or similar tools that require user consent under ePrivacy regulations.
How to manage your preferences
You can manage your preferences through the banner displayed on your first visit and change them at any time. You can also control or delete cookies and localStorage data directly in your browser: Chrome (Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data); Firefox (Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data); Safari (Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data); Edge (Settings → Cookies and site permissions). Note: deleting technical cookies will clear your saved preferences (language, consent), which will be requested again on your next visit.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory or technological changes. The 'Last updated' date at the top of the page always indicates the current version. Material changes will be communicated through a visible notice on the site.
